Remodeling Concierge · Northeast Ohio
Twenty years inside the remodeling industry taught me one thing above everything else: homeowners are the only people in the process with no professional standing. I built Remodelry to change that.

I've spent more than twenty years inside the remodeling industry — cabinetry, flooring, design-build teams, showrooms, shops. I've owned a business, closed one during the recession, gone back to school, and spent years helping homeowners navigate one of the most confusing and emotionally loaded experiences they'll have as a homeowner.
In every one of those roles, I was on the industry side. I was the person the homeowner was trying to evaluate, trying to trust, trying to figure out if they were being told the truth. I watched homeowners get overwhelmed, outmaneuvered, and burned — not because contractors were dishonest, but because the process was never designed with the homeowner in mind.
The contractor has to close. The showroom has to move product. The designer has a style to express. Everyone in the remodeling process has something to sell — and the homeowner is the only one who doesn't. They walk into contractor meetings unprepared, into showrooms without direction, and into decisions without the context to evaluate what they're being told.
Nobody was in their corner. That's what Remodelry is.
Cabinetry, flooring, design-build, showrooms, and shops across Northeast Ohio. Not a desk career — a field career. The kind of experience that comes from being in homes, seeing what goes wrong, and understanding why it happens before it does.
The PMP is the gold standard in project management — a credential that requires demonstrated experience managing real projects and passing a rigorous examination. For homeowners, it means the person walking through their home thinks in scope, timeline, risk, and process — not just materials and labor.
Cabinets are the backbone of any kitchen remodel — they drive every other decision from countertop dimensions to appliance specifications to lighting placement. Understanding cabinet construction, lead times, installation sequence, and finish options at a professional level means homeowners get real guidance, not showroom sales language.
Hardwood, engineered, LVP, tile, carpet — I've sold all of it, installed all of it, and seen all of it fail when the wrong material went in the wrong place. That experience is what makes the guidance real. Not a showroom pitch. Not a commission. Just an honest assessment of what belongs where and why.
Design-build experience means understanding the full arc of a project — from the first conversation through construction completion. It means knowing where the handoffs break down, where scope creep starts, and where the decisions that seem small in the planning phase become the most expensive surprises during construction.
Every homeowner who has filled out a "free estimate" form online knows what happens next. The phone rings — multiple times — from contractors who know nothing about the project and are calling to close a job. The homeowner who wanted guidance gets a sales pitch instead.
Remodelry exists to be the conversation that happens before any of that. A trained field professional with real construction knowledge shows up at the homeowner's door with no financial stake in what they decide — no bid coming, no crew to keep busy, no showroom relationship. Just an honest assessment of the project and a clear picture of what comes next.
The Clarity Consult is $200. The Clarity Package — a plain-language document covering scope, budget reality, site conditions, design direction, risks, and next steps — belongs to the homeowner regardless of what they decide to do with it. There is no obligation beyond the visit. That's what makes it real.
Not a referral. Not a lead. Not a commission. A homeowner who finishes a Concierge visit understanding their project — that's the outcome Remodelry is built around.
The best thing a consultant can do is shut up and listen. Every homeowner has a story, a priority, a fear, and a vision. The job is to hear all of it before saying anything.
Contractors are not the enemy. They have a hard job and a business to run. Remodelry helps homeowners show up to contractor conversations prepared — which makes the whole process better for everyone.
A remodel is one of the most personal things a homeowner does. It deserves a guide who understands that — not a process that treats it like a transaction.
